Dr. Swarupa lyer completed her MBBS from Lokayman Tilak College, Mumbai and DGO from Collage of Physicians and Surgeons. She completed her MD from Seth G. S. Medical College. She is practising for last 18 years.

- Presently she is working as a Consultant & Honorary Consultant in different hospital across Thane
- Has Perform all Major Surgeries like Radical Hysterectomy, Vaginal & Abdominal Total Hysterectomy, Sling Operation, Laparoscopic Sterillization
- Running Thane Garbhasanskar Kendra { for better mental & physical development of the baby.} for pregnant ladies, every Sunday between 3.00 to 5.00 pm. This project was started in Jan 2001 in association with DR. SNEHALATA DESHMUKH (ex v.c. Mumbai univ.). Today more than 800 couples are benefited by this programme
